I just got my new bed installed, does anyone have instructions on the SD card slot install, I also purchased the auto bed level parts and was wondering if there were instructions on how to install this system?

Well, I had an issue with the wires being crossed from the bed harness. One of the bed heater and one of the thermistor wires were swapped in the connector.

The 'tell' was the zero reading on the bed--it was not even reading ambient. When I traced the wires back I found the cross-up and redid the connector they provided to sort it out. Once those were swapped it heated normally.

So I have to say the LM8U bearings supplied with this kit are a major fail.
Mine were so bad they would not rotate around the rod. I made sure to clean the rods thoroughly in case there was any grit. Moving them along the rod felt like grinding sandpaper.
I checked each one individually and they all exhibited the same effects.
The bearings themselves looked ok. They were not damaged and looked to be well lubricated. It's their overall quality that fails.

I swapped them out with ones I had from Misumi and it was an insane improvement.
The Misumi's fit the rods perfectly, rotate freely and glide along them like a hot knife through butter.

The Robo bearings are going in the trash. Those things would have never worked. My stepper probably couldn't put out enough torque to move them and would have burned up.

I still think the kit is a fairly good deal, but they could have sourced a better set of bearings. These are crap.

Did the bearing upgrade as per warlocke.
Much better, less noise, easier to move the Y carriage. Will be able to actually print test when the bed gets back from Robo HQ, but I see no downsides to this.

I think they are going out-of-order again with purchases. My order# is 2373, and I haven't received an email thus far.

Keep in mind they are having to redo all of the heated bed connectors due to the poor quality of ones they got shipped (for both the upgrade kits and the new printers). This will most assuredly slow them down as they are not only rebuilding the ones in stock, but they are having to rebuild the ones they already shipped that are being sent back.
A certain nightmare for them that they were not expecting and especially as they were starting to ramp things up.

Any update on these? Order #2427 placed mid-April.

Also, can I add the bed leveling kit to this order?

    Thanks

The Y axis belt holder on mine cracked 2 weeks ago and I have been CA gluing it ever since while waiting for a replacement from Robo... Tonight i got tired of waiting and just drew one up and printed it. If anyone needs one, here's the file:

Those magnets sticking above the Y axis end caps should be glued to the print bed
