Ok, so I have a unique problem. Whenever I preheat using my lcd or do a print and whenever the hot end gets close to the final temp (doesn't matter if the final temp is 210,235 ,or even 250) you can hear relays start clicking really fast the leds start flickering and then the lcd shuts off and reboots and then I have to start all over again. I can sometimes catch it by doing a preheat and then when it starts acting up I quickly select the model I want to print and it will start printing. If I have my computer hooked up I do get the relay clicking and led flashing buy nothing shuts off because the laptop is self powered. I tried replacing the lcd screen and that didn't help. I feel it is some issue with the heating circuit but not sure. I have replaced the heating element and it is no different. Any help any one could give would be greatly appreciated

To me, honestly, it sounds like a power supply that can provide 12V until it is under load then fails to provide adequate power.

Yeah, that does seem like a feasible possibility. My robo is like 7 months old, do you think this is something I should take up with them?

At 7 months it is out of warranty, but the power supply in the R1/R1+ is inexpensive and generic so you can buy a replacement from Amazon or where ever works better for you. You can contact Robo and see what they would want for a replacement, but I imagine it will be cheaper from Amazon.

So, I got my new power supply. I went with a mean well power supply. I noticed a difference right away. My lcd was brighter and responded faster. It no longer shuts off on me. Thanks so much guys
