I'm interested in your take. I've been having great success lately using HIPS rafts for ABS prints, but that's not an option for most people.

I'm really interested in the build plate overlays, eg the http://printinz.com/ with the metal overlay. I got a 10x10 quoted at $69 shipped.

I'm definitely considering it, especially to use a non-contact probe.

I'll fire up an ABS print or two when I get it in and report my findings...

I have the bottle of WolfBite (tm) in hand... I will try an ABS print next.

OK, I did test this today. I have still some work to do to relevel...
Since this goes on the glass I had to pull all of the tape and clean everything. I will probably never go back to the tape anyway.

It does work pretty darn well. First you layer it on the clean, COLD glass. Then heat to temp and print.
The issues I had with sticking were simple 'too high' or 'too low' problems with the extruder itself.
It is a little complicated by the fact that my bed is not flat Y+ to Y- (I have shims to adjust).
