Answered arduino won't connect to computer when ramps installed.

So, either one of them is bad (or plugged in wrong) or the RAMPS is bad and failing when it tries to activate that driver.

 

Ditto. and about the cheap knockoff boards----I exclusively use them. When you get one that works all is good in the world and last quite awhile. Ramps boards like to die when driving the heatbed but...you know...10 bucks lol.
