Hello guys. I just got my Robo3D and I'm trying to use the Software that came with it as my printer software while Cubify Design as my designing software. The problem is here: I try to design something in Cubify, then "Export" it to STL file, save it on my Desktop. Then when I launch MatterControl and open that file, its so small no matter what the measurement of the design is. I dont think its on the scaling problem since when I export the STL from Cubify, it asked of measurements before saving it to my Desktop. But all of it becomes so small in MatterControl when I open it. Does any of you guys does the same and successfully solved this problem?

One program is in SAE units and the other metric.

I don't use either so no help on which is which, but that is it.

What exactly do you mean by that? Scale the item while in the MatterControl?

I don't use either of those programs so nope. I can't give you a step-by-step. Mike is correct though, you need to scale it up (in mattercontrol) to do the conversion manually or make sure the units are set the same in both programs.

Anyone knows how to set the units to be the same on both?

Yeah I'm not sure how to change scale in MC. Or use netfabb basic. It's a pretty simple thing usually.

I don't know of any regular uses that use Cubify.

I'd suggest googling "How to change to mm in Cubify"

If you go into edit (at bottom of window) you can then set scale. They have option of unit conversion.
MC works in mm units. Cubify specifies scale in inches which MC interprets as mm. 1 inch=25.4 mm. SO changing scale factor in edit from 1 to 25.4 should bring your model to correct size.
