In spite of being told that Cura is just for the R2, I downloaded it this morning and I see that it offers the R1 as one of the known printers. All of the posts for Cura are somewhat old. Is there any update on using the current Cura with my R1, or any reason not to? If it's one of the built-in printers, why does the Robo website say not to use it?

No reason not to use any of the FREE slicers.

Do not base any slicer decisions on what Robo says or doesn't say.

Does anyone have experience with the current Cura download from the Robo website that lists the R1 as a known printer?

I assume this means there is no need to download additional profiles as described on ther Robo website?
