    So I have seen people dealing with similar issues for their hot end or bed, but never both at the same time. The hot end temperature reads around 115 and the bed around 160. If I try to heat up either I get a and error message identifying it. I have checked both and do not se any connection issues, and the machine behaves the same way if they are disconnected, not a good sign :( .

    Has anyone come across something like this before? I noticed it a few days after finishing a 12 hour print, I'm worried something on the driver board may have thermal damage.

    From this you can see that:
    1) the extruder starts off reading 116c and the bed 163c (yeah, as if)
    2) the extruder is not heating :)

    So I think it safe to say you need to contact Robo for a new controller board (or at least have a conversation with their tier-2 technical folks to get that started).

    Hey. So I got in contact with robo and they sent me a new board. The extruder is up and running just fine, however the bed is having some issues. The temperature reading is constantly 0 and I can not set the temperature. If I look at it in octoprint it shows the temperature as "off". I checked the thermister and the connections between the bed and board and didn't find any issues. Could this be a software issue?

    Well, different symptoms but the same thing... it is either the pogo pins. the driver board itself or the connection/wiring somewhere in between. Sanity check the wiring/connections. Check that the pogo pins are not falling down on the job.

    No, that is not a software issue :)

    So I checked the connections between the bet and the board and everything seems in order. My pogo pins are not damaged, I beeped out the cable contacts and had no issue. Measuring directly on the board I can see the low resistance (aprox 20ohm) of the heating element, and the resistance of the thermistor connection drops from about 6.9kohm to 6.4kohm. When not connected the thermistor read around 80kohm, and i can see it begin to drop when I but my finger on top of it.

    A separate but possibly related issue I am seeing is with the z-offset config wizard, each time I run the utility it homes the bed then raises it half way and stops.

    I can't say if the issue is related, but if all else checks out you are left with a bad board.
    You should probably schedule a tier-2 tech assist (takes a bit to get on calendar so call soon)

    Since we have no direct swap for that board available outside of Robo...

    Do you know anyway to contact them other than email? Id like to try and expedite the second replacement board but when I called their support number they said they couldn't help because they were in a different location, and there is no phone number for the "other" location... This wasn't a very satisfying response after waiting on hold for a half hour...

    @Jerry RoBo 3D

    sadly, all I know is the phone or email. Jerry may have a better idea or be able to have them reach out to you.

    There should be a way to engage tier-2 support more directly.

    Robo can look at it as an opportunity to enhance :)

    [edit: I "get" that 2nd tier support is a more limited resource, but there should be a way to reach out an schedule them more directly. I know there is a form on their website -- or was -- but that feels a bit disconnected]
