I'm not seeing this coming up.. But I'd like to know of anyone else has any feelings on this:

I'm going to be setting up a new 3d printer this summer that may end up being a general loaner in my group. And this seems less expensive than a heated bed/glass combo, and less annoying than painters tape.

However, it isn't clear what the material is and how much damage occurs if a print head ends up running into it.

Was wondering if anyone had any first and second hand experience with it.

Do you have an example of a good one I can refer to?

    You know, for science.

Would like to hear from someone here as well, if they try it.

Specifically, the printinz plate had issues with overadhesion, and had a sharp transition from not enough adhesion to too much, meaning my print bed not being flat AND the printinz plate not being accurate caused printing issues.

Might be something to try out as long as it doesn't damage itself. Hopefully we get something that allows good adhesion but makes over adhesion nearly impossible to get.
