Foolishly (as I now know) I unplugged one of the cables out of the back of my LCD Controller. When I plugged it back in the screen shows this. LCD.JPG
I can't seem to reset it. Have I broken it?

remove it from the case and turn the potentiometer that controls contrast, it could be as simple as that.

It's working again now. After I'd left the printer off for a while, this time when I switched it back on the screen came back to life again.
The only difference this time was that if unplugged my laptop from the printer as I wanted to use it for something else. Whether that was the reason it worked this time I don't know but I won't be unplugging those leads again any time soon. Lol

Sometimes you gotta power cycle the LCD if it gets a display error.

I found out what the issue was. Because my laptop was plugged in it was still powering the LCD. Once I removed the USB cable it reset the controller.
