    I just got a Robo 3D printer yesterday and have been tinkering with it to adjust the settings to get more accurate prints. The heat bed was working properly yesterday, but today it will heat up to the desired temperature, but as soon as I add an object, the heat bed turns off and quickly loses temperature. I'm using Repetier, not sure if I clicked a setting or option that has enabled this problem, but it has made it impossible to print anything in ABS.

    what settings did you change? did you try changing them to see if this problem still kept happening?

    I believe the only change I've made today was making the infill 30%, which should not affect the heat bed turning off.

    He said Repetier.

    What temperature are you trying to run the heated bed at?

    I've tried running it at 70 and 90, no matter the temperaturew, it always drops as soon as I add an object.

    Add the object in the software?

    What? Describe the steps you're taking in more detail. You're not making sense right now

    So in Repetier, I connect my printer, turn on the heat bed, fan, and extruder. The extruder I set to 220, the heat bed to 90-110. Once they are all heated up, I add object and begin slicing, but then I go over to manual control again, and the heat bed still says its on but is losing temperature really quickly.

    Did you upgrade the firmware to allow for it to get up to that temperature. Adding the object is irrelevant in this case. Chances are if you enabled the log it would show a max temp error

    I haven't done anything with the firmware since I've had it. So do I download "Arduino Files for firmware customization" under firmware, and then flash the firmware?

    Then the max for the stock firmware is 85 on the heated bed at which point it will turn the heater off.

    Look for this in CONFIGURATION.H:

    #define BED_MAXTEMP 85

    and change it. If you have the ribbon style cable going under the bed (or if you have an older Beta) then this is fine:

    #define BED_MAXTEMP 115

    But anything lower is fine as well.

    Under printer settings in Repetier, I have Max extruder temperature as 280 and max bed temperature at 120

    Just tried it again. Got the heat bed to above 100, then inserted object and still stayed above 100, then I used Slicer and tried printing it, and the printer didn't do anything, but the bed began to cool.

    Firmware, not repetier.

    Just flash the firmware, it's set to 110 max temp. Modify it to 120 if you want to print at 110C

    Enable the log and see why it's erroring.

    Now, when I try to close Repetier, it says some heaters are on and asks if I want tot turn them off. So I press yes, and it still doesn't close. So I press close again and it still says some heaters are on. I have both the extruder and heat bed turned off (the picture shows them with a red line through them). Extruder is still at 220 even after i turn it off.
