I don't think that you can print an oiler. It would leak like crazy.

Doing pretty good with my new printer so far, just have sort of an issue when I try to print bigger objects like a filament holder. It makes the outline perfect and once it starts to print the object it does a little and gets jammed. I believe its yanking the filament and causing issues, so until I can get the filament holder made I have a Redneck close hanger hanging off my cabinet. Would there be anything else that could be causing the jam?

    I have seasoned the head.

yes it jams on the first layer and I have got passed that a few times and it could be in the middle of the print, but for the past few hours 1st layer. How tight should I be tighten the screws at the hobbed bolt...maybe I'm going to tight also, but right now I am trying it loser.

You might be too low to the glass. If the filament can't extrude out properly it could jam. Especially on the first layer

Right, the oiler isn't really for first layer issues.
Check the @tesseract first layer guide:

Hey Mike I noticed on your printer you had plastic lines running for the filament, do you still have this set up amd if so can I get some details on what you used.

I run what's known as a Bowden feed setup. The tubes act as a guide after being pushed by the motors off the carriage into the nozzle. You could also use it on a direct feed setup but it would just act as a filament guide, like on the replicators.

For Bowden you want to maintain a consistent diameter from the extruder all the way to the hot end, so for 1.75mm filament you'd use 4mm ptfe tubes with a 1mm wall thickness for an inner diameter of 2mm. For a filament guide it's probably actually better to use something with a bit larger ID

I printed out a little bearing and the top did not come out smooth as i would like and has holes in it, is there a way to fix this? The two photos that are attached is top and bottom of the object.[IMG][IMG]

increase the amount of infill in the top layers. depending on the software your using I also like to adjust the extruder speed during prints

    Bottom looks really good!
Increasing infill or slowing down at the top layers will work. You can also increase the number of top layers. Probably 1-2 more than you have will fix the problem
