Anyone have any tips for parts with screw holes? I can set the Z offset to make a nice base or I can set it to make the screw holes stay in place. but either height cant work for both.

As of right now I am setting it a little low for the screw hole outlines and the perimeter then once I start filling in the base I adjust the z height again manually. If I dont do this the screw hole donuts get knocked off and some times they are just ripped off when moving from hole to hole.

Anyone even understand what I am saying? I should just make a video. :(

Yeah a picture or video would make it clearer. How big of screw holes?

Yea, not 'seeing' it either. Screw holes are not (and should not be) a problem.
Sounds like (SWAG here--description a little vague) maybe the first layer is still not quite right.
I take it that the first layer (untouched) is not adhering correctly?

    Progress.

I will post pics of the problem as soon as I need to make a part like that again.

This is approximately 15 hours in.

All look like very good quality prints too. Really well done.

What type of filament are you using?

Robo glow in the dark PLA.

The Chassis and Arms were done at 300 and everything else is at 200. once its together and everything works I might try again in nylon or something similar and make all the working parts(gears and the like) at 100.

For now its a fun project just to see if I can. I wouldn't even drive this outside as it would be dirty and uncleanable in seconds. :)

So far everything is lining up and the gears fit smoothly together.

All of the GITD filament sucks in some way. Either it sux as filament or at glowing :)
I have some, but it is the second variety that I kept. It glows OK for a little bit at least.
