    Hi:

I've recently had some problem with clogging and was thinking about changing the stock hot end for an all metal one with removable nozzles, could someone point me to a hot end that fits in the robo? I heard good thing about the e3d, but I'm unsure which version is the most appropiate.

    Thanks!

I just did the e3d v6 and it works great. If you buy new you will most likely end up with the same one. V6 being the latest and greatest.

E3Dv6 universal is the way to go.

Not trying to discourage you form purchasing an E3D (because it is awesome) but the hexagon also does have a removable nozzle.
If you're in the US, you can order here: http://www.printedsolid.com/shop/printer-parts/hexagon-replacement-nozzle/
Outside of the US, you should be able to order directly from the reprapdiscount site.

I believe you can also purchase an E3D nozzle and put it on the hexagon.

This is correct but the hexagon has an internal bore of 1.8mm and the E3dv6 nozzle has an internal bore of 2.0mm. Minor but will affect things like retraction and nozzle swaps.

The E3Dv6 nozzle is 7.5mm thread length, vs 6mm on the hexagon. Thus a hexagon nozzle won't work on the E3D

I took apart the extruder yesterday, to clean the aforementioned clogging, and tried to remove the nozzle, but was unable to, I did not use much force though, as I didn't want to break anything.

Here's a picture of my current nozzle

Heat it up and try. It may be stuck do to the filament acting like a glue while cold.

Yep, the Hexagon, E3D and others have removable nozzles. Not so much the J-head.
