    Hi Guys,
I'm new here so please correct me if I'm doing anything wrong!:)
Okay so I received my printer last week I did a couple prints, they came out okay (everything stock).
My head jammed a couple times so I decided to change to the E3D, I only changed the head today after a whole day working on it.
    So these are my problems:
    1. Whenever I start my print it starts about 3 cm in the air and I have to manually spin the threads to get it to actually print. I am sick of doing this and I know there is a way to calibrate it but i'm just not sure how!
    2. This problem occurs only on some prints (I was printing a case). It's happened twice and both times on the first layer, the printer just stops and when I switch back from cura to repitier host it says x number of commands waiting.
Help will be greatly appreciated because I cannot wait to get my Robo reliable!
    Thanks
and glad to finally be part of the robo family :)

Yeah I do but it hasnt been working lately even if I send a G29 command to the printer it will not work!
Also what program do I have to be in to show terminal?

Update: I tried repairing it in netfabb like I saw on the other forums and I still ran into the same problem. About 20 mins into the print it just stopped and I switched back to repitier and it had commands waiting again as well! I think its a gcode fault, am I correct? Apparently people have been using simplify 3d and have not had any of these problems, am I correct? If so is it a well spent $140?
    Thanks for your help :)

Let's tackle this one issue at a time

Where are you inputting the G29 code in your startup G-code?

Terminal is inside of matter control, Advanced controls > configuration > show terminal.

If you suspect it's g-code you can tell because the g-code will just end.

I've found repetier had communications issue, try running the g-code from mattercontrol

Simplify3D won't fix these problems most likely.

While Simplify3D is well worth the cost, it will not address #1, and probably not #2. You need to get your initial Z starting height corrected as Mike is going for. Then solve the communications issue as well.

I was inputting the G-code into the manual control part of repitier because it wasnt working when I put it in the start of my g-code for cura!
I cannot print through matter control is there another way I can check these things?
    Thanks

Do manual controls work in matter control. Can you take a screenshot of your matter control screen.

You need to add an item from the queue to start a print

Are you able to heat both the extruder and bed?

The print starts by heating the nozzle, then the bed, are you watching to see if these increase.

    Don't bother updating for now.

Okay Mike I fixed the problem and I can print in Matter control now!
It dosent do an auto bed leveling though!
I will try to activate it and then I will finally be able to get the screenshot of my terminal.

    This is really weird.
I was just successful in printing a phone case and then I wemt to print it again, some file just differemt filament and speed settings and it stopped just like it was last time (this time before the first layer was even done)
I have attatched a photo of the terminal when it stopped! uploadfromtaptalk1402570267927.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1402570267927.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1402570267927.jpg

I just did another print (shark this time) and it happened again. I was able to get a picture of probably a better error that we can work with! [IMG]

Now it says maxtemp triggered but when I installed my E3D I changed my maxtemp to 310![IMG]

Was I ment to change all three of those to 310 or should I of left two of them? could this be the source of my problem?
Could you check your Configure.h in Arduino to confirm my theory? :)
    Thanks
