KIMG0233.jpg Just installed a new printhead on my printer. Print head is very hot but under the MatterConrtol Controls window it is not showing a temp for the print head.

Shorted wires on thermistor on your new hotend, that is the little glass bead with the fragile leads.

Should I replace the thermistor or will it be as simple as two wires touching.

It should be as simple as two wires touching or one of them touching ground. This is why the canister style thermistors are more
popular, they are harder to damage/short.

Doesn't seem as if anything was shorted out. I purchased a new thermistor. Hopefully that will help
