Prints with .15 E3D nozzle on r1+

    The titan with a pancake stepper takes a lot of weight off of the carriage as well. Makes the move to Bowden a bit less of an advantage as it relates to mass and speed.

    Bowden is still lighter :) so hopefully faster ? Lol

    Bowden is cheaper and easier, but ... there are a few other things that the titan offers.
    The downsides might outweigh the upside.

    Right, but Bowden has it's downsides compared to a direct drive. An interesting test for sure. Maybe make sure to use the Titan for you Bowden setup at least.

    Lol i have parts laying around to make the bowden feeder :) then dont have to buy the titan :)

    If you need PTFE tube for your bowden I literally have it coming out of my nether orifices since the trials of the Rostock machine.
    I can spare some :)

    It did not start off as 'inventory' but after throwing the kitchen sink at this thing to get it working it has turned out that way.
    Come to think of it all the printers are guilty on that front :)

    Preachin to the choir my friend :) one day ill have all the same maybe so one set of boards works on all of them lmao. And one hotend...and one size filament...uh.....ok no i wont :)
