I keep getting max bed temp error at 110C is that correct I was under the impression the r1+ would perform at higher temps then that.

That is the correct setting in the firmware for the R1+

Because no bed heater can hold exactly the temperature you request it will rise and fall a degree or two while trying to hold the temperature. If your firmware max temp is set to 110° (Robo defaults to this on the R1+PLUS) and you ask for 110° there may be a scenario where it might go to 111 or 112° for just a bit too long and you will get an error. It can happen to all 3D printers using Marlin firmware. If you need 110° on a regular basis, your firmware should have an upper limit at least 5°C higher than that. I think I have mine set to 130°C. The heater itself could likely handle even heating to 150°C but there is not yet a filament that requires that much bed heat.

The heater could handle it, but I rather doubt the stock power supply could :)
