The plastic plate warped, and even when flat did not provide ample support for the print bed. I replaced the plate with a piece of oak wood. On top of this i added aluminum glide strips. These are 1/16" by 1/2" strips screwed down onto the wood. All the connections and components had to be retrofitted through the oak. Before this nonfunctional due to level issues. After this, working... most of the time. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Nice, does the bet move way farther now? is that why the oak sticks out so far?

No, the bed travels the same distance front and back. The wood is positioned under the entire length of travel so that the glide strips can support the bed in all positions. The strips are continuously in contact with the underside of the bed. Some squeeking as the plastic "glides" along the aluminum strips. Applied carbon powder to alleviate some of the noise. The bed simply has to be pushed up from below at ALL times.

Can't tell if that started out as an R1 or a Beta, but good job!
