Unresolved replacing printhead

    I came across a replacement print head from a different vendor (reprap?) it is almost an exact match
    (size, type of hexagon heat sink etc.) my problem is when I installed it and tried to run a test build the nozzle keeps moving around when the print head moves and there was some brown stuff oozing out of the hot end
    and I think the nozzle is clogged. Any suggestions on how to keep the print head from moving and what the
    brown stuff is ? I have a robo3d r1 plus thankx in advance.

    Do you mean the hotend is loose or are you speaking of the actual brass nozzle?

    not the nozzle the whole hot end assembly when it is installed in the print head

    Are the two M3 screws at the base of the extruder in all the way? Or, do you have just the quick release piece?

    I have 2 m3 screws and they are in all the way
