Correct. The distinction is fuzzy at best so it's common to get it confused.

Did you start the print from SD? Any chance you added a pause command?

link, can you toss up some pics of where you're seeing these messages? There probably is something funky in the startup gcode, but I've never seen anything like that displayed on the LCD.

there's definitely something weird in your gcode. Post it here and we'll check it out.

I thought the settings were changed to allow gcode files to be uploaded.
It would be pretty amusing to see all 3000 lines uploaded, but I think if you upload the first 20 or so that are not commented out (a ; in front means it's commented out) we will be able to figure it out.

you can open the .gcode file up in a text editor like notepad and copy from there, but the screen shot works.
scroll down a little so we can see line 29-60. from what you have up so far, it doesn't look like you are using the autoleveling code, but that doesn't explain the message on the LCD screen.

So, the picture of the waiting LCD screen was from different code, right? The two screenshots you've posted are for a temp of 200 and the LCD pic was showing 190.
You're missing two lines of code that are needed in your start GCODE for the autobed leveling.
They should be on a piece of paper that came with your printer.
You need M565 Z# where # is a typically negative number that is listed on that piece of paper.
Then that needs to be followed with G29

Without these, it won't use the autolevel code.

Ok thanks. Now I have to figure out where to add that code on the rep

Now does the matter control have a G-Code generator?

Yes. Mattercontrol has three slicers to choose from. Cura, silc3r, and their own slicer. It's a good choice for an interface for getting started since it matches the instructions robo sends.

I just realized you have a printed housing for your LCD in the pic. Did you have the printer working prior to connecting the LCD?

alright, I'm confused then. If the code runs from your laptop, there should be no difference going from the LCD. Save your gcode onto the sd card, remove from computer, insert into LCD, select file on LCD. From there, it should run just like it does from your laptop.
When are you getting the waiting for user message?
