Hey Super Gadget Guy! Glad to see you got your printer in good shape! That's awesome! A few things regarding your video. The PLA version does not have a heated bed, in the video it seemed like you thought that. Also you can just peel the brown cover off the Acrylic Bed. It's just a protective piece for shipping and manufacturing. As to the hotend, please keep the yellow "tape" on it. It is Kapton tape that secures some wires. Feel free to watch this getting started video:

Let me know how it goes, good luck!

If it's broken they'll ship you the parts to fix it. I'm sure you can do it :) We've got a great community of members that are more than happy to assist you getting printing

    I'm scared I'm waisting money-

can you say either your faverouite print on the robo 3d (preferably with pictures )

or thing s you have really enjoyed printing

is 100 micron good enough for printing warhammer sized figurenes? (I like to play D&D)

I'm buying the pla. is there a way to smooth down pla plastic? links?

Totally not a waste of money, Soupaboy! I am far from a 3D printing expert and I was able to get mine going with minimal fiddling.

PLA can apparently be smoothed with... some chemical I can't remember the name of. If you really need smooth, I think ABS might be a better option, since you can just do that with acetone vapor which is much more readily available. 100 microns with a bit of smoothing - be that with vapor, or just prime/sand till you're happy with it (if you use PLA and don't feel like ordering stuff from a chemical supply company) - should be fine, but tiny little things can be a bit tricky to get working well.

Does the printer come with a power supply? If not which one would you recommend?

That is just how my box was packed. My tools were still all together in the pack though, I don't think it would be good with those rattling around in the box.

Mine were rattling around. The toothbrush holder they got wasn't the most secure thing.

Mine also came with M6 screws for the spool holder instead of the needed M5, but I got that fixed.

    No T-shirt thou :p
