I use matter control & I was curious if anyone had any tips for making support material a little easier to remove, IE settings that will make it easier to remove from the model. because I am tired of destroying or nearly destroying models due to hard to remove support material.

Apparently matter control has 2 support settings, grid and line. Please make sure it is set to line. Grid is the worst!!!

Yeah I've been having it set to line, 'cause I tried grid once & it was a nightmare. Is curaengine different from Cura?

Nope. Curaengine is the slicer and the software is cura. In mc and repetier host they refer to it as cura for simplicity

Try increasing the z distance. Support material leaves a gap between the object and the support. Making it a little larger will make it easy to remove. Of course you're walking a balance between too hard to remove and too far away to provide effective support.

Can anyone please tell me how should I remove the supports from a Voronoi model without harming the overall print.

Very carefully is the right answer. Typically, you can print most voronoi without support, but if you turn on automated support it will put them all over the place. Meshmixer or simplify3d are your friends here.

    Here is the pic.

I have printed this at 25 mm/s and it took me about 4 hours to print it.

    Good luck.
    That will be a beast.

Most of the software out there does a poor job at making removable support material. Like @Printed Solid suggested use Meshmixer or Simplify3D to do the supports and print.

They make special tips you can buy for soldering irons that do help cutting away the plastic, but in my opinion, better supports is the key.

S3D is the best for support. I just let it put support all over on some prints because it's so easy to remove. Most times no tools are needed at all to remove it.
