Unanswered Support Material

I just recently bought my printer, and have started to have issues with support material. At times it can lay 2-3 good layers, and then the next layer will stick and all of the previous support will be taken of the print bed and stick on the print head. On a few occasions I have had every layer stick to the print head and never stay on the print bed. What is causing this, and what can I do to fix it.

I am using Hatchbox white filament.

What software are you using? Are you keeping your PLA in a humidity controlled area?

Probably Mattercontrol. I would trash that software and use Cura 15.04 or Repetier. Their support is way better.

 

If you plan on printing supports a lot just do yourself a favor and go get simplify 3d. Supports just fall off its pretty awesome
