I am not sure how to see my firmware in Arduino so I cant say for sure what my max temp is but here is the code from Simplify3D:

    G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift Z by 5mm

    G28 ; home all axes

M565 Z-.85; set the offset for auto-leveling mechanism

    G29 ; run auto-level

M109 S185 ; set the extruder temp and wait

    This:

READ: : Extruder switched off. MAXTEMP triggered !

Is an error from the firmware. The firmware saw (however briefly) a spike in the temperature from the hotend.
Either a bad connection or a bad hotend thermistor.

So as I was doing some research on new commits to Marlin version 1.1.0 (not what Robo uses, but what I found still applies). Some of this temperature spiking may be attributable to EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) and simply moving the wires around a bit may significantly lower the chances of these millisecond temperature spikes from happening.

I personally am not sure if this is a cause, but that is what some of the developers are supposing. So if you rearrange the wiring just a bit you might never see that error again. Of course your mileage may vary.
