Testing the bamboo

    printed at 205C, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers.

    Those are un-touched up. Straight off the printer.

    It is a lot like the woodfil (print wise). The differences I can tell are the texture is finer, the weight is much lighter, the color is lighter and the 'smell' is a bit different.

    It is actually almost as light as the carbon fiber (I have not tested the strength, but likely not as strong).

    I'd expect it to be a little stiffer than wood, but nowhere's near carbon fiber. For your reference, carbon fiber is really high stiffness, which makes it feel strong, but strength is about the same as other PLA. Right material for the right application :)
