Unofficial shipping counts

All,

Given my frustration with the infrequent and, sometimes, incorrect shipment numbers provided to us, I'm going to try to keep track of shipment numbers here since I'm tired of going back and digging up numbers from places.

The current "confirmed number as of morning 10/16/2013 is 352

10/16/2013: 17 [361] (Note official number is 61 so far this week. Totals don't match)
10/15/2013: 27 [352]
10/14/2013: 25 [325]
Last Update with a number: 300

 

Hmm, I no longer have the ability to edit the original post. While I would hope that the Robo team actually did ship product yesterday, there has been no communication as to shipping counts. So, as far as I know, yesterday was a beer and pool day.

that's a shame, i was hoping they would have finished the 500 by now. How long does it usually take to ship a batch of 500?

why are they limited to so few a-day (im not complaining im just curious)

 

They really aren't saying. A printer is a complicated bit of kit and I think they just completely underestimated the massive undertaking to wire, assemble and test the units. I'd guess that even testing is harder than they hoped.

 

QC Soupaboy, that is what takes the time. It is not just a case of slapping a label on a box and shipping it out.

 

do you think they are going to be looking for robo 3d pros to help them set up?

 

I think what is taking so long is after they calibrate each printer, they are running a test print. And for each test print they are printing a brick which is going to be part of the new Robo HQ that they are constructing in the back of the shop, or they are building a gundam suit… I forget which

 

i hope to god that the brick thing is true becuase that would be cool use acetone as the cement

 

if only it were... sadly it is the gundam suit

 

what a shame. if it is a gundam suite then they can just deliver you the printer by flying it to you now that would be an awesome shiping option

They should be getting close to the end of the kickstarters I would think. I received my printer yesterday, and my est. date was in May. So They cannot be to far off at the rate they are now going.

 

They must be at least 500-600 off finishing the kickstarters at the moment. Even the last batch they got from China will not finish it.

OK, I heard that one more had received a tracking number but haven't seen any more numbers so, as far as I know, Robo has shipped 383 as of 10/26/2013.
