Definitely worth the wait. I would say you should get it before august, probably july if things keep going smoothly.

 

Racegrafix, what is the main reason for you suggesting it will be August/July with my #19xx order? Last I heard they got the final kickstarter batch in and are moving towards standard orders and Bradyon said they're on schedule. My max lead time upon ordering was 8 weeks and that would allow them until the end of March to ship my printer. I understand people have been getting substantial delays but why would they lie? I don't mind waiting but I do not want to be strung along.

 

I was told 8 weeks and getting before xmas should be no problem. I think i got it 15 weeks later after many emails. Once ks orders are done, then you have to wait for next shipment. That's going to take 2 months if you are on first batch, 4 if not. Worth the wait no doubt...but there will be a wait.

Anybody have a recent shipping confirmation in the 18xx or 19xx order #'s?

 

1872 - ABS-PLA - 3 Filaments shipped yesterday!

 

So, I'm confused. On their website it says explicitly that there is a 4-5 week backorder on the printer (I just ordered one last week, #22xx). Am I to understand that this time frame is incorrect? I am counting on my printer arriving within that time frame as I will be moving to a different address shortly after.

I only live 2 hours away from San Diego in Los Angeles. Maybe it's worth it to drive down instead of playing this guessing game.

 

Email them and let them know you're on your way. They can usually accommodate local pickups.

 

I think I will take your advice and try to contact them. Is there a contact email or should I just go through the website contact form?

 

The website contact form is generally best. They respond typically within 24 hours except for weekends.
