I'll have to take a look at them and see if the wires are fully connected to the endstops. When I first got it the wires for the right side came loose pretty much immediately. I'll have to solder those on.

And also thank you so much for helping me troubleshoot this

If they came loose it would respond as Open

Triggered is reporting as closed circuit.

You need both switches to be activated to trigger an open circuit on the line.

    Unless you modified the firmware

Gotcha, I'll check on that after I get out from work and respond back. Should get back to you around 6:00 pm EST

Ok, so when I send M119 with only the Z endstop triggered(the x-carriage is left alone) it reads:
    x min: open
    y min: open
    z mine: open

And when i lift the carriage up it reads
    x min: open
    y min: open
    z min: TRIGGERED

    That looks like what's expected.

When I try and home, it behaves just like it's supposed to. All the axis go to their respective homed positions.

So it sounds like it's working? Try a print I guess

The issue is that it can home but I'm unable to jog the axis and the extruder and bed both show a temperature of 0 and they don't do anything when i try to preheat them.

Make sure the connections are solid on the plugs for the heated bed and the extruder.

    Do you own a multimeter?

if you still see 0 measure the resistance on the plugs in t1 and t2

I don't know if it means anything but when putting the printer head back together I was pretty sure I put the plugs back into their respective ends, but to test it i swapped the thermistor and heatingblock one to see what happened and the temperature of the extruder read some crazy number like 376 so i then swapped them back.

Then you probably have it wired wrong.

In what way? Should it still be reading 0 for both and then check to see if all the wiring is ok or should it be reading that higher number before i check the wiring?

You should be measuring around 100kohms of resistance for the two thermistors.

So I was playing around with the wiring on the print head and flip flopping trying to find out how it was supposed to be setup and I've gotten the axis to jog and the bed heats up. However, the extruder temperature is reading 132.4 and the retract/extrude buttons aren't working.
