What's this noise

    U have tried to pin point it with my stethoscope with no joy.
    Has anyone had similar issues and can suggest where to look

    It seems to only happen when the head moves diagonally.

    @Trevor C do you still have those orange spacers that the printer was packed with? It sounds a bit like there is binding in the gantry and those packing clips do double duty as holddowns during shipping and gauges to make sure everything is square.

    Snap them back on and loosen some of the set screws in the gantry gearing make sure the spacing remains the same all though the axes then retighten the set screws.
