    Took the hot end out and cleared to jammed filament and have put the hotend back in my r1 but need some help getting back up and running and adjusted as I am having a few problems with my left shoulder and need a second pair of eyes to visually check what I am doing. Haven't gotten much of a response on Reddit

    Did you ping the Robo support folks? They supposedly have 24x7 support for front-line type stuff at any rate.
    Not able to skype this weekend (stuck on my phone)

    [IMG]currently it's just scraping the build plate no contact between nozzle and bed but it's just low enough that it's hitting the gluestick I put down. Will be scraping the current layer off and reapplying tomorrow

    What slicer are you using ? Can you snap a picture of your two switches on the z axis (threaded rods) if those are both good all we need to do from the looks is adjust the z offset

    The switches look good visually so od start by putting

    M565 Z -1.0;

    In the gcode script between the G28 and G29 code. That will give you a starting point for testing, after you put it in slice a quick print and see how the first layer looks maybe snap a picture for us. If its still to close youll need a bigger negative number (ex M565 Z-1.1; )
    To go closer a smaller number (-.90). Keep adjusting until you get a correct 1st layer.

    Couldn't see the first layer due to filament color DOH![IMG] it's a little messed up from me trying to scrape it off. Bottom feels smooth to touch

    Hey progress ! That was with -1.0? Looks like the top of the layer has nozzle marks so may try -1.1

    That may be from the gunk on the nozzle I still need to clean off
    From the previous filament

    If thats to high and the lines have space between them on the first layer try -1.05
