It started doing this, and I don't know what it is. Only thing I can think of is that it's a Z axis and I couldn't see anything on visual troubleshooting for it. I might of missed something but, yeah. I know it can't be the nozzle, because I changed it our between prints, and it did the same thing.

    Filament type:pLA
    Extruding Temp: 210~200
Bed Temp: 80 1st layer 40 for rest.
    Bed makeup: painter's tape
    Filament dressing: canola oil

The things at the bottom are uncleaned brims, but as you can see it's zig zagging.

    Any suggestion?

Are the bulges the same all the away around (all sides)? It does sort of look that way from what I can see, but you know how it was printed (what orientation).

If so it might just be over extrusion. Or it could be a loose component on the X/Y driver axis if the ripples are limited to one of those axis.

    More details would help.

It's more like the layer shifted more than just hanging or bulging

Then you have a loose belt or other drive component (like a drive cog on a motor shaft). Check belt tensions and all set screws.
I like Loctite on the set screws...

I'll check when I get home. Isn't that kinda bad? What if you want to undo the screw at one point or another? Lol
But yeah, it seems like I have problem with it every other day. Kinda frustrating

Blue loctite can be removed. Red... not so much.

Okay, so I tighten the X and Y axis belt, and I still have the problem. I did find something odd though. The imperfections are happening on the same layers. These were done on different print job.
Also, I checked, and it's not over extruding.
One on the left is done using 0.2 Layer height with 1.25MM nozzle. The one on the right was done 0.4 layer height with 4.0MM nozzle. Each of those "shifted layers" are multiple layers.

Yeah, I saw those video when he 1st uploaded it. but he also said on the other video the new robo R1 (which is the one that I have with the Z rod stabilizer) didn't need this because of new designed coupling. But I guess when I get home, I'll give this a try.

I was experiencing similar z problems event with the stabilizers. I'd give his solution a shot.

Okay. So I took everything apart. And noticed one of my coupling was off. It was leaning to one side. So I kept banding It till it (kkinda) got straight. Print came out whole lot better Too

It is an M8 thread. One option would be to not tap it and just force thread it into the hole.

it wasn't the thread that was giving me trouble, it was the coupling it self.

I'm pretty sure just about everyone that has had success with reducing ribbing has done something to firm up that connection. Either linear steppers, a rigid coupling, or filling the grooves with silicone, ...

Did you tighten the set screw along with the belts?
