    Hi All,

When I received my printer the belt on the Y axis was loose. I printed my first few prints and say a bit of layer shifting occurring. I'm not sure if this is the tension or just something else. Is it possible to tighten the belts?

Check to make sure the rods are seated correctly, the belts used are endless and there is no adjustment for tension. If one is very loose then your gantry is not square for whatever reason.

Bingo, check that the rods are lined up and mounted into the frame. There have been cases of them getting knocked out of place in shipping.
