E3D V6 3D Printer J-head Hotend Bowden Extruder Clone

    Well after walking away from it for a bit when I came back i could faintly see some graphics on the LCD so i tried to adjust the brightness but no go so i am very inclined to believe it is the LCD screen that's faulty.
    Thanks every one for your help it was greatly appreciated .

    One last bit when I disconnect the USB from the computer it loses all power so when it's hooked up straight to the printer it receives no power and will not turn on

    Power supply is on?
    Your 12v from the power supply to the RAMPS can also supply power to the Arduino and does by default. That way either the computer will power the RAMPS or the power supply. If yours is not working then it is a bad RAMPS (or a custom one that has a jumper missing).
