If you start off printing all of the possible replacement parts you will likely never have anything else break :)
You know, while the toys are printing ...

    Right out box and running.....
So for my first print I stopped by Tinkercad and made a very simply keychain, for my wife it's her birthday, downloaded it and used Mattercontrol to print it.

    Settings:
    Material: robo sample blue pla

    Quality: set to high

    Layer height fine 0.1mm

    First layer 0.3mm

    Bottom clip 0 mm

    Top layers 8

    Bottom solid layers 1mm

    Infill 25%

    Speed infill 60

    Raft 100%

    Speed perimeter 60

    Temp. Extruder 210

    Bed 50

    Retraction 3mm

    Total time 60 minutes

Here is how it turned out: f'ing happy

That is terrific for out of the box.

Too many times people have one or more QA issues that get in the way.

the funny twised think is the new style closer, i think I may need to go back and look at the drawing, not sure how it fits on.

tomorrow is a new day to try again, and this time I will remember the glue and watch the first layer...

Did you get hit with any duties direct from Robo3d?

They are having a tribute to 3d printing which gives you the printer and 2 extra 1kg filament rolls for $799 USD. Price is $912 USD with shipping but duties and taxes are extra I believe.

B&H has it for $799, no filaments and shipping is free but duties and taxes are $109 so its like $909 USD to my door but I would need to buy filament.

Trying to see which is the most cost effective way. I guess if I go with option 2, I get to pick whatever filament I want.

I bought from Amazon. Anyway you go you can't lose. I haven't used robo filament but 2kg filament would have been nice on start up (I'm uptothe 40 spool mark so be ready :) )

I did pay duties and taxes at the boarder, I cleared it my self so it was taxes only no duties.
