"I dropped my parts fan on the floor and broke it and apparently my Ramps cooling fan is broken too."

I don't mean to be a smart-ass but when I read that I imagined myself throwing parts around the room in frustration and then telling the wife and kids I dropped them. Sorry, just laughing at myself publicly.

Lol, no i actually dropped my parts fan the other day when I was installing the titan, fell on the tile and busted a fin off.

As for the Ramps fan I have no idea why it died last night..Printed 2 prints with the titan, then the fan died.

I have done the throwing shit across the room before but not in a long time lol.

@KTMDirtFace Now would be a perfect time to swap that RAMPS fan for a 80mm or bigger 15mm depth max fan. You would just need a bigger hole in the bottom. I upgraded to an 80mm a long time ago, it runs quieter and blows more air on the RAMPS, I have not had a single issue with RAMPS/Arduino overheating.

And I am sure a bit quieter at that. I have one sitting on my desk...just don't have the heart to cut the hole. haha

Im still rocking the 40mm. I should really change but the better quality 40 is very quiet and i have a hard time switching to use a different fan size. All fans are 40 in my printer except PS, easy to maintain spares. :-( lol its also between 65-68 degrees in my print room if all are running so may have an advantage there :)

If you have printed riser feet helps with cooling as well. Having them all the same size is nice to keep spare stock. So if you switch with a quality fan should be another good thing to do since I don't think the fans from Robo are anything more than what comes from the penny box.

    I have the riser feet.

FYI, I tinned my wire ends with solder. made it a hell of a lot easier to plug into the 12v input without them fraying bending around.
