Do the limit switches that Robo carries work as a replacement for the z axis limit switches?
What size wire connectors do I need to fit these limit switches?

I can't find any of the cheap sources that have the appropriate connectors, the microswitches are basically all the same size and need a female spade connector. I am pretty sure you can use a 0.110" Connector, but it might be a bit tight.

That was the size I was looking at online, but I didn't see a set smaller than 100 pcs. I didn't want to buy that many and have them not work.

I bought the new switches because the original ones appear to be soldered on, and I would like to make them quick disconnect.

I can't remember what I use, but it was a small, standard female spade lug connector that came in the kit of assorted spade lugs from Harbor Freight.

I can check out Harbor Freight after work today. They didn't have anything that small when I looked at Home Depot. I also recently discovered a Radio Shack still exists near me, but the drawer where the connectors should have been was very sparse.

Except for prohibitive shipping, you can buy quantities as small as 1 from Digikey and Mouser.

In all fairness the spades I use are a tiny bit larger than the connector I think, but they work just fine.
I am not at the printers at the moment, but I will say that after converting both of them to autoleveling with the new wiring and connectors I have had no issues.

Good point, I usually save up enough to make it worth buying something from those folks :)

I think the spade connectors for the switch are 3/16" female

I just measured the actual switch lug and it is 1/8" or 3.2 mm, 0.110" connectors might be too tight, and 4.7 mm very common size is just too big and fits very sloppily. Just an F.Y.I. 3/16" is 4.7625 mm, 1/8" is 0.125" in decimal.

You can buy the .110 connector at the parts store. They are made for speakers.
The part # I used is Dorman 84541.
    Hope this helps.

I have been able to get the female spade connectors in most sizes at a hardware store. Some times they are better priced than the big box stores.
