Shipment has arrived!

Yeah, I have no idea how they are doing the order. I will say though it is possible that yours has already shipped. I received a tracking notification 2 hours after I received my printer. So the thing will take you by surprise, it was not to bad to set up and calibrate. I will say make sure you have a spool of wire ready. I did not get much with the printer in the box.

 

April backer, ABS fully assembled, no word here either.

 

What backer number are you? #215 was mine.

 

My backer number is 298.With you being a May backer and number 215 it seems you may have picked up a slot that someone dropped out of.

I am only 83 behind you so, if they are shipping by backer number (which we know they are not) I should have about a week to go.

 

Well, I originally had a PLA pledge, and switched it up after they announced the ABS feature.
So I changed the pledge completely rather then just doing the add on in the survey they sent out.

 

Ah. That may explain it.

 

Since the April backers are receiving theirs, I wonder if I as a May backer should be getting mine.

 

To be honest I figure most people should be receiving their printers soon, well backers anyways. There have been at least, I would venture, roughly 400 printers out by now, with more coming in and more constantly being sent out. Your model will have an effect as it seems they have been sending out more PLA orders, from waiting for the BORO glass for the ABS+. As one of the few who ordered online, order # is 1356, and I feel confident I will receive my ABS+PLA printer rather soon. (Soon being before Christmas which is only 2 months away).

come to think of it, i was used to waiting
now that i have a tracking number, i keep hitting the refresh button every 2 min to see where it is, even though it says estimate delivery is Friday

 

As I am a May-Backer i hope i will get mine soon.... It is like Christmas is delayed for 5 Months....

 

It's rather like a pre-xmas phase for 5 monthts.

 

Just checked and found my printer has cleared customs in the UK. Expecting notification of import duties etc quite soon.

 

So, apparently they're not shippig by backer number as mine is 310 (int'l, assembled, ABS) and I still didn't get a tracking number

 

My printer is now with delivery courier and on its way. Still haven't heard about improt duty and VAT, maybe the courier will collect on delivery.

@ Matthias - My backer number is 298 and I am International, assembled, ABS so yours should be on it's way very soon.
