I thought it would be interesting if folks posted the projects the intend to work on when they received their new printers.
    -Robotics
    -Inventions
    -another 3D printer
-Toys for the kids.. or yourself...

I plan to tinker with some simple robotics projects and some other invention concepts... I also have some common items around the house that need to be repaired like my wife tea pot needs a new knob...

What are you planning to do?
Who knows we may find some common interests....

Probably print parts from my camera slider I made, so I can replace the mounts with something other then pieced together bits of aluminum :p

I am going to print middle fingers of increasing detail and complexity as I get better with 3D design.

I already have a bunch of designs for a prototype project. I will start with guitar picks, then a little box or so, maybe a tornado for practice and then jump to the big stuff. I build, therefore I RoBo.

An assortment of miniature, um... male parts, mainly as tests(es?) and to get used to using a 3d printer, which I can then keep in a sack and hand out to people who annoy me

A new nozzle for my upstairs bathroom sink to stop it spraying everywhere

A new latch for my son's lunchbox, to replace the broken one

A case for my phone, as I seem to have picked the only Samsung Galaxy phone with no &#%ing cases available.

A tiara, so I can finally celebrate Tiara Tuesdays

    New frames for my glasses

Oh, and the giant project I've been working on for 2 years and wanted a 3d printer for in the first place, but that's boring work stuff.

Remember, printing diagonally will allow you to print up to just over 14"... just sayin'!

I am going to print something to help me take over the world!!!!! MUHAHAHAHA

Or a larger printed version of the TARDIS because I like to use it as a test print on my current printer :)
The tricky part is making it bigger on the inside

broken unobtainable parts for my 73 mustang convertible like the power switch for the top they go for more than the printer if you can find one probably cost less than a $1 to make
    an orrery
    enhancements to my metal detector
    parts for my pinball machine
Galaxy S III case that has moving gears as part of the case
an invention I was thinking about...actually two

What don't i want to print..... but first I'll need to print the basic's everyone does, yoda, the owl, tornado etc, just to learn what I'm doing. then I'll mostly be printing out boxes for electronics projects and stuff i think of. try to design and replace broken bits and bobs as everyone does, a pair of sneakers and a bike.

I'm designing an airsoft gun to resemble the BR from Halo 3. Yes I'm an enginerd! :p

Though I love the future potential of designing enclosures for my projects
