Hi all , I just got the heated bed upgrade for my Robo .
I got it installed per instructions and everything is operating good.
my problem is that I do some big prints and use the full length of the travel of the bed.

I have noticed that the rigid wire for the heated print bed either gets stuck and binds up or gets looped around something underneath the robo like a the y axis motor . this will cause the y-axis to step out in the print
is there a better wiring solution???

maybe using a different type of wire or wire guides that cut down on the friction and binding?

I apologize if there is a thread covering the wiring but I could not find it.
    thanks
    John

Yeah that will probably much better..
I order some on ebay, 7x7mm and 10x10mm inner.
I will replace it when the printer has some time off lol

I had the same problem with my R1 that came with the heated bed. The wire was touching the endstop and getting abraded. In some case it even triggered the endstop!!
I used a zip tie through a conveniently un-used hole in the top plate and zip tied the wire to the adhesive-backed anchor at a different angle. Works fine.
I like the cable chain though!

I replaced the Endstop swith between the smoothrod and belt on the left.. so the cable guide can run free..
