If thats the only fail thats nice. The cable chain is a real annoyance to get it where it doesnt hit something. I had to remount mine like 4? times on the robo wall lol. My robo looks like swiss cheese now from all the drill holes.

Yea getting the bearings out of the stock carriage ( or any carriage ) sucks. those LM8UU bearings are cheap and easy to mess up. The ones you linked on amazon should work..and you have spares for when you grenade one trying to get it in/out of a carriage.

I'm using the larger Linear bushings now instead of bearings. Where'sWaldo has a post on that.

Got my Titan today, other than checking out the parts included I don't have time to mess with it. So it is going on the shelf for a bit.

I got short nema motor from amazon today. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it has no plug, it Just has wires coming out of it. I might have the right connector in my box of stuff to splice onto it. But probably not. So another setback.

Really? That sucks. I thought it had the plug from what TStark had said earlier. Did you get it from SteppersOnline store on Amazon? If so, I have the same crap coming.

EDIT: yep...see the pic now where it shows no plug. He ran out of stock for part of a day and then I saw it back in stock and just ordered. Maybe he got a slightly different batch since I don't remember seeing that pic when I put it in the cart.

The one I ordered from steppersonline has a plug. Take a look at my picture above.

Sidenote: V2.1 starts tonight. Looking at the model everything should clear now. V2.1 also allows for the plug to be sidemounted to go directly into the wirechain instead of top and routing down.

O dang. I didnt even notice that. I bet a lot of people will order that one too. I just happen to order the other one with a plug because it was higher torque. You can still use that one, just put on connectors or use the old wire to make an extension.

Did you get it from Amazon or straight from steppersonline?

straight from steppersonline, which took like a week or so coming from China, plus you have to sign for it when it arrives.

Well, it was cheap so no big deal. I have tools to make a connector if needed.

and that is why I went with the lower torque one. I guess it will be a good test to see if it works well with the Titan. I know it will fit my bracket with how I want to face the titan on the carriage nicely. so it will be all good in the end for me. That explains why T had some placement issues with the 25mm motor. I thought he had gotten the 20.
