Aw man you should have asked me before paying $140 for that. I'm sure Cincinnati Gasket would have been significantly cheaper

I should have but I didn't know it was going to be $140. Since it was custom, I didn't get the price up front.

I was having issues with my heatbed. I was told to check the green connectors on the RAMPS board and noticed they were fried.

So I desoldered the fried green connectors from the RAMPS board and soldered new ones. But now the extruder will start heating without control. As soon as I plug the green connector to the board it will start heating and wont stop at the temperature set.

I tried replacing the green connector AGAIN but it keeps doing it.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Is the board trashed?

    Regards,

Is there a site to buy the exact same one the R1+ uses? EDIT: Without paying 150 (Robo3D official site)
I've been having lots of issues tweaking things for this printer that keeps bailing on me lol.

In the R1+, Robo decided they would redesign the Standard RAMPS board, they did not add any functionality or upgraded features that were not already in existence on the RAMPS 1.4. It is just a different layout. They are the only ones that sell that particular board. It is not any better quality wise than any other generic RAMPS 1.4 board out there. Don't waste money on anything other than an easily obtainable RAMPS 1.4 generic board.

Has anyone gotten a new board from Robo3D? Is this covered by the warranty?

If i wanted to replace the MOSFET, how do I know which one is for the bed and which for the extruder?

And what are the specs for this MOSFET

I can post a schematic for the RAMPS 1.4, but while it is electrically the same as the Robo one, the parts are moved a bit.

    This is the board labeled:

    Robo3D R1 +Plus Ramps Board (labeled).jpg

    Q1 goes to D10
    Q2 to D9 and
    Q3 to D8

    (all on a standard ramps)
