I am going to try and get one to test just to see (assuming availability and non-stupid price).

The link had an email address for people who want to test it for free. I would be interested in this. Thanks for posting the link.

The person from the email got back to me, and thanked me for my interest in his product but didn't tell me how I could obtain one. There was no response to my second email. Mark, did you have any luck trying to get one of these modules? Their web page said that they will provide them for free for testing but I'm not sure if a form has to be filled out for that program.

He responded to me that they will be available via a kickstarter campaign in May:

    "Hi Mark,

Thanks for your interest Resumer 3D, it will be online on Kickstarter on May, I will keep you informed when it begins. "

So likely all of the stock of free ones are gone and he has enough interest to justify the kickstarter. That would be my guess.

It appears to be a data logger with up & down arrows to scroll through layers of the print to select where to start or possibly to select more than one failed print to restart. There isn't enough information to determine this, and there was no reply to this question in my email. I guess they don't want to provide too much information because they are afraid of somebody trying to copy their idea. It doesn't have a display so I don't know how you will be able to select anything if you don't know what you are scrolling through.

At this point we wait until the kickstarter and get more information I would guess.

Does the TFT35 already have this function built in?

Resumer 3D sent me an email with a link to download a program to run on my system to see if it's compatible with their device. The results only showed a series of codes which they told me to send them. They will send me a module to test if my system is compatible. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Mark, did you ever get one of these to test? I didn't hear anything from them in over a month.

According to the link in the first post, it's supposed to be available on Kickstarter by the end of this month.

Yea, I'll check it out then, but if it is more than a trivial cost I will probably not fund testing it :)
If it is really inexpensive as they say I will give it a look.

Pretty sure that Prusa's i3 already has this capability.

Also the Anycubic i3 already claims to have this as well.

Unless this is offered for less than the cost of modifying a UPS to use a high-capacity 12V Marine battery (200 amp-hour, for example, as that is what I have done), it won't be worth it.

This would have come in handy yesterday. I was in the middle of a 4 1/4 hour print, then suddenly the printer stopped printing, but the computer continued to count minutes that it was running. I had to cancel the print to restart but an odd issue occurred. Matter Control kept displaying an error saying that it was unable to connect to the printer due to an unknown error. I rebooted the computer, then I was able to start over again. I have a surge protector outlet with a UPS, but it didn't catch an unknown power glitch which disrupted the print. Maybe this resumer box would have been able to continue where I left off.

Found your problem. Should consider getting a LCD controller (tons of threads on the various kinds and mods to be found if your inclined to look through)

USB glitch. UPS should protect only the printer and it should be printing only from SD card :)

The attached PC is a dunsel
