Yah I did. But it was stripping it. I think what i'm going to do is request a new one, print out that thing from thingiverse and buy a E3D hotend. But it was defiantly the hot end. Like I stuck every gauge in a Skinny Top/ Heavy Bottom into it and it wouldn't budge. That was fully heated up too.

If the allen is stripped you are doomed.
The hotend is a write off at that point.
You could perhaps destructively get the heater core out (drill) but if the allen screw is stuck or stripped you can't get a new one in.

Then you are out of luck. I would replace the hotend since yo are not going to be able to replace just the heater core.

So I got the new part. I installed it. Things look a lot better. I calibrated. Now I'm getting a sorta sloppy print like this: http://m.imgur.com/4Z3ZQWr

    Any recommendations?

OK will do. Is it over extruding now?

Hard to say from that model, but either way (over or under) could give you that sort of look with the layers.

I just checked and I'm extruding exactly 100mm when I press 100mm. Could it be anything else?

Yea, that sort of finish issue is tough to call. It doesn't really look like belts, but that can be an inconsistent thing since acceleration and speed all matter. I bet you could make belt tension issues look like that :)

I like the pictorial troubleshooters. It avoids terminology and that can be a challenge for newer folks.

Does this hint at a clog? See how it loops as soon as it comes out? or is that normal?
