new thermistor not working? :(

    so i got my new board and e3d finaly yayy
    um does it matter what way the heater core wires go in to d10? there both red :p
    on the board there kinda to big to so mite have to do a bit of cutting around the wire ect

    No it's a resistor. Polarity doesn't matter. You can wire strippers to reduce the diameter of the wire a bit, but don't remove too much

    Just tin them and then strip down a little if you need to.

    and nothing not even connecting :(
    its showing unable to connect in green though so is it detecting something ?

    i have the Arduino drivers installed on win 7
    its not even making the usb connect sound error ect

    also nothing under device manager/no com ports avalible

    probably a short on the ramps. check your wiring and/or unplug the arduino from the ramps and try connecting just to that

    sussess dono what i did tho lol i think one of the pins were out or something
    should i keep the list going on this thread or make a new one lol
    its just the little things but ill try to figure them out first
