No, I kept the 5/16. And I have done prints in the past, before I did any major changes, where there was just no ribbing at all. Small columns@ .2 is my worst case scenario. I shall try a .3 something and see if it is any better.

Hey 1d1, not to be rude but would you mind making a "My Printer" thread so we can keep this one clear for pictures?

Absolutely. Did not mean to hijack thread, it just kind of went that way...

Damn it. I have been working on getting that printed for a while :)
Nicely done. Some of the ship parts have been problematic for me (probably due to scaling issues).

Thanks, as you can see some of the parts broke off handling it. The nose cone had a spear, it broke and the arms had extra spires on them. Also broke after handling it. It's a very delicate model especially at the size I printed it. If it were bigger, it would be more sturdy. Also if printed in ABS might help.

Here is a very thin fence. I printed it in a raft, PLA 190

Compare it to a Canadian dime
    [IMG]

I used a x-acto knife to separate the piece from the raft.

This is a case for my Opensprinkler board I printed on my R1. I was able to achieve this by changing my hobbed bolt and adding more tension to the springs that apply pressure to the filament. It took about four hours to print both halves with a .2mm layer height. I had some issues getting the support material out of the holes in the back, but still learning and making changes.

I have added to a print, and probably will continue to add to the following shark out if water thingy.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I am having issues lately with my extruder turning off during printing. I have a faulty extruder thermistor I am trying to get it replaced but for some reason there are serious delays in getting a tech support responses.

I hope they have sent the replacements already but I can't seem to get a confirmation from Robo3D support.

Anyone know if Jerry is around? He was handling my case. No response from anyone lately.

I was creating really good prints and all of a sudden things are failing and need replacing.

Like the rocket Peter! I see you did the same thing I did with making the flame bigger so it looks like its blasting out of the nozzle (I really think thats the only real poor part of the models original design). Like the look you ended up with.

I was able to get this to print on skin coloured PLA filament on bed that no longer heats, used hairspray, and an extruder that has failed temporarily once in a while. But it worked for the following:

    Some stuff I've printed:

    Gopro Steadicam (Designed by myself):

    2014-11-27 21.06.11.png

    Little Owl:

    20141114_153216-2.jpg

    Phone Case (needed some sanding):

    20141118_070550.jpg

All prints done on PLA at 100 microns. The phone case has that weird look because the infill didn't get covered up completely.
