This forum is great for troubleshooting and getting the printer setup.
but one would think with all of talk of delays and having to tune your printer that the Robo 3D is tough to work with.

I have had a great experience with my Robo so far, yes there is a learning curve . But that is why we are here on the Forum.
So to give those new people some inspiration , lets show off a little bit and post pictures of your best prints !!

Here is one I just did with the Taluman-618 nylon.
I think it came out pretty good.

In the spirit of the season and going from something big down to something pretty small...

These are a remix of the famous celtic skull to be strong on a 7mm diameter glow necklace.

The three in the center are glow in the dark ABS printed on a (very highly tuned and modified) Makerbot Replicator 1 at 100 micron. The orange one on the right is Dutch Orange colorFabb PLA/PHA on an Ultimaker at 80 micron.
The red one is Traffic Red colorFabb PLA/PHA printed on the robo at 100microns. Not a bad showing given the price differences between the machines.

Well it is actually two prints but they are very related the firs is my color cube this done in a single print by adding Gcode to the exist at the right locations to stop the prinat and allow me to change the filament to a different color this was done twice the transition from red to white and then from white to blue

The same thing is done for the second print but in this case I switched filament types from ABS to PLA and back to ABS

I call this my "Colorcube" and the second my "PLA Sandwich" nothing spectacular but the technique was interesting

You guys are making me jealous because I still cannot talk to my printer, let alone print anything.

There is a good possibility that a printer will be up for sale real soon. Spares or repair.

Can I assume you have an E3D on there? How was the installation and functionality of it?

Why should you like this image? Because he has a thermal detonator! I saw it 3 days ago, and I had to have one. Most support material I've used yet, and first time using a raft. Still a little material on one side.

I'm really happy with this calibration print. Only problem really is the top tip with the small amount of material still hanging

So far i've got nothing bigger than an inch to print. Joy!

My wife loves the new printer. She keeps reminding me how cool 3D printing is, and how i'm going to be able to create so many neat and useful things. She points to the pile of tear off ruined crap piling up by the printer.

The bed isn't level front to back (Y axis?) so I've got to try and print the adjustable legs. But the clips that hold the glass down are rubbish so maybe that should be first.

Hey, at least the thing keeps the papers from blowing off my desk.

I have a set of clips I added to hold the glass to the CF bed.
That with tesseracts spring-loaded bed adjusters makes it all good.

    This turned out well :)
Printed beautifully (some minor issues with hands, but nothing big)

Shot with some stone-grey paint and done.

    (sized pic down a bit)
